Small Balcony Patio Decor

Phew! Its been about 7 months since I last published a blog post. My last post was all about holiday home decor… and here I am posting about home decor again! While I don’t post on my blog nearly as much as I used to (or as much as I used to post on All the Cute), I definitely post more often on my Instagram feed and Instagram stories. Now, onto the core of this blog post! David and I moved into a luxury apartment community at the end of 2018 (more about that here!) and even though we definitely don’t plan to live here forever, we still, or at least I still have enjoyed making our place into a home. For some reason, last summer, and our first summer in our place, I didn’t have much interest in decorating our balconies. Yes, while this post features only one of our balconies, we do have two of them. I’ll create a separate post, featuring the other balcony sometime over the next few weeks… I hope!

Anyway, with the shelter-in-place mandates due to Covid19, I started thinking more about our balconies. Since I pretty much abhor bugs, I really only made great strides with decorating our small balconies once we had a makeshift, double-sided velcro and screen setup. Several months ago, one of our neighbors turned me on to this idea and David and I took time for this DIY project at the end of May.
